Hello
Happy July 4th to everyone in USA. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I don't do anything in J***. Just being funny. Love your channel. Have a wonderful day. It was a fun live today. (don't count me in for the prize.)
Happy 4 of July everyone.😊🇺🇸
Wow i never use my thread cutter coz it was cutting to short. Going to try this trick hopefully it works. Thank so much!
❤
What I love about crumb quilting is that a 1/4” seam doesn’t matter, just sew whatever seam allowance depending on the size of crumbs.
You are absolutely right! Sewing crumbs together is just so fun because there are no rules, just relaxation!
I do not use thimbles because of the numb tips of fingers. Found beautiful different fabrics on my bus trip to the UP of Michigan.
It sounds like you had a wonderful time and that makes me happy to hear. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, Judith! Have a great rest of your week!
Love seeing your craft fair projects. Where did you get your vintage and kitchen fabric?
Hi and thank you so much for watching and commenting! I'll have to rewatch the video later to see which fabrics I used, as this was about 2 or more years ago. So as you can imagine, it's hard for me to remember which fabrics I used. I'll rewatch it soon and see if I can find names and or links for the fabrics I used. If I do , I'll come back and comment again.
😂
Beauty WITH a brain! 💕💕 Great tip! My Brother does this, too!
@lesa6399 you're too sweet! This is actually the first machine I've owned that does this, and before I figured this out, it was driving me absolutely bonkers. I'd use the thread cutter, start to sew, and realize that it was unthreaded! Ugh!
Thank you Marie - do you have a trick for the bobbin thread being cut too short?
Hi Debee!! I don't have a video for that at the moment, but I do have a question for you. I noticed that my bobbin thread is cut very short whwn I use the thread cutter (it doesn't show at all), but when I start sewing, nothing messes up, so I assume everything is okay. Do you have an issue with yours messing up?
Great tip for any machine 👍🏻💕
Thanks! I wasn't sure how many machines have this issue, but it was something that I dealt with a lot at when this machine was new. I found different ways that *sometimes* would work, just not always. I was bound and determined to find something that would work every time, and this is it! 🥰
This is so helpful! Thank you
I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you very much! I just posted a new short this morning on the automatic thread cutter. I had been having issues with it cutting the thread too short, and then I figured out a trick to make it work right, so I made a short about it. 😀
The drawstring fish purse was made with pink fabric. But, it could also be made with blues or greens and some little boy would love to put his toys in there.
9 trying to find your pillow with your granddaughters name on it, not having

Hi Marie, Mary and Jay 👽 here. Sorry to bother you in the middle of the video but I did have my daughter send you my address however it was returned again. I don’t know there’s nothing else I can do I guess so gonna try one more person to do that for me and and then I guess I’ll have to forget about it. I don’t know if there’s something wrong.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 😊
Marion, I replied to your email and I received your address. Your postcard is on its way
The bags you received from Richard are so neat. I would like to see a tutorial for the Japanese knot bag. Also what is the fish bag used for?
The fish bag is a child's purse. It is very roomy. You could easily put a phone in there.
The fish bag is used for a child's purse. It will easily fit a cell phone. But, you can put anything in it you want to.
Yes, he is an excellent sewist! I will put down the Japanese Knot bag on my list of tutorials for the future. Thank you, Janice! 🥰
Thanks again, Richard!
Keep using songs like this and I'll watch anything you make lol
I’m glad you liked it! There’s nothing like a great song to put a smile on our faces!
I love my Roxanne thimble but it is metal and has no give. I am able to use it along with my thumb to pull the needle thru the fabric. I enjoy your channel.
Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it! 🪡🧵

Watching the replay now, very early Friday morning. I never took to thimbles and don't do much hand sewing anymore.
Thanks, Peggy! 🧵🪡
When I’m hand sewing I need my thimble otherwise I stab my finger I’ve got to keep my fabric from getting blood stained !😊
That’s right… we can’t be bleeding on our projects, lol!

Have you tried the stick on thimble?
I’ve never heard of a stick on thimble, but I’ll look them up. Thanks! 🪡🧵
@@MariesScrappyCreations not a stick on a thimble, a stick-on thimble. They are small plastic dots that are sticky backed. They come in a package with quite a few and they aren’t reusable! I’ll see if I can send you a link.
@susanlapierre-jones Yeah, that's what i said, a stick on thimble. 😊 I am listing everyone's suggestions, and i am amazed at the variety available. Thanks so much! I'd never heard of this type before you mentioned them ❤
Hello this Thursday. REPLAYER
Thanks for watching, Brenda! 🥰
Oh Marie, I missed the live. Here I am on the replay, laughing with you about Jack! My husband thinks I'm nuts laughing in my sewing room all by myself! I'll look for a flexible thimble for you, it sounds like it would be a helpful addition to my sewing notions besides all the fabric hoard that I have! Wishing you a blessed day!!!
Hi Betty! I’m glad I can keep you laughing (I guess I should give Jack *some* of the credit, lol! I appreciate any help in the thimble department! 🧵🪡💕
Wow just love this idea ! I’m a semi beginner quilter and I love to make things square ! I will for sure make a bunch of these. Thanks so much for this tutorial Marie ! 😊🌺
You are SEW very welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial! 💕🧵🪡
